Owasso, Oklahoma is a city of approximately 36,000 people, located just 20 minutes north of downtown Tulsa. It is considered a bedroom community of Tulsa, with many people making the commute each day. Owasso began as a settlement in 1881 and incorporated in 1904. It was chartered as a city in Oklahoma in 1972.
